LOCATIONS

Unique and pristine fishing spots of Patagonia Argentina

“At these latitudes all stimulates emotion: at times, the sad aridness of the plains; at times, the chaotic aspect of the mountains…” Ramón Lista, Argentine Explorer.

Southern Rivers Patagonia is based in San Carlos de Bariloche City, República Argentina. It is the largest city in Northern Patagonia, at the foot of The Andes Mountain range, in the extreme Western part of Río Negro Province. It is located in the heart of Nahuel Huapi National Park, one of the largest and most important national parks in Argentina.

Strategically situated, we have easy access to a multitude of rivers and lakes, all located within two hours of Bariloche city.

Examples of the rivers where we usually fish include the Limay, Manso, Traful, Pichileufu, Caleufu and Collón Cura.

Included among the lakes we normally fish are Fonck, Hess, and Roca. This constitutes a sample of the places we can go. There are many other lakes and rivers within reach, so if you scout out somewhere else, contact us. We can take you there!
