“I am Lucas Esteban Valenti, Owner
and Head Guide of Southern Rivers Patagonia. I am 50 years old and live with my
wife and young child in Dina Huapi (a small town just 10 miles away from
Bariloche City).
I am a passionate fan of fly fishing and Patagonia. This is why 23 years ago I
decided to leave my home town in Buenos
Aires City and start a new life here, in the South of my country.
I have been fishing rivers and lakes all along Nahuel Huapi National Park and
its surroundings since then, that´s the reason I can assure you I know most of
its secrets and techniques in order to achieve exceptional catches.
I got my experience working as a guide in some of the most popular local lodges,
including the Orvis-endorsed Rio Manso Lodge and Estancia Arroyo Verde Lodge, as
well as guiding for several different outfitters from Bariloche City. I am a
certified tour and rafting guide for the Patagonia region. I enthusiastically
